Hi! It’s been a while. This is my first post of 2016, and I’m feeling pretttty excited to be back. I decided to take some time off the site late last year to focus on culinary school first and foremost, but also to take some time for myself and bring a bit more inspiration into my everyday life. Looking back at the last two months, it didn’t actually turn out quite as planned. While culinary school certainly took up much of my free time, I found that instead of going out to get inspiration from sources where I thought I needed it most (museums, restaurants, etc), the inspiration I truly needed came from the inside. I spent a lot of time reflecting, listening and taking in my thoughts and feelings in a deep way….
